It is my immense pleasure to endorse Scott Cass for Sheriff of Lamar County.  As a local director for a nonprofit agency, I have seen firsthand how compassionate he is about the citizens and children of Lamar County.  He is not one to sit back and watch others do the job.  He rolls up his sleeves and gets to work immediately. That is truly a trait that we need in a Sheriff.  He truly wants what is best for Lamar County and is always willing to better our community.  Not only has Scott played a huge role as mentor to several area Lamar County students, he has helped guide them to furthering their education.  With being in the mentoring business, I know how much of a huge impact that can have on a child’s life.  Some of our very own local children would not be where they are today if it were not for the positive caring adult mentors in their life.  Scott has had an influence on lots of children (and adults too) and it takes a strong leader and someone with a big heart to make that happen.  He has compassion and high morals and is a man with integrity. 

 Lamar County residents are fortunate to have an exceptionally qualified candidate running for Sheriff, Scott Cass.  He has the knowledge and experience to run a Sheriff’s office!  I have personally witnessed his dedication to family, friends, community, and career.  I am extremely confident he will give the same dedication when he is elected Sheriff.  Vote for Scott Cass!
