Chief Deputy Scott Cass since 1991 when he was a Reserve Police
Officer for the City of Dallas. Since I first met Chief Deputy Cass
I have been impressed with his high morals and his dedication to the
citizens. When Chief Deputy Cass moved back home and went to work
for the Lamar County Sheriff's Office I kept in contact with him. He
would call for help and thoughts on situations that occurred within
your county. Since I became the Sheriff of Franklin County, Chief
Deputy Cass has been a great source of help for criminal issues that
involve our two counties. I truly can't think of a better choice for
your next sheriff than Chief Deputy Cass. He has the drive, the
morals, and the ability to be the very best sheriff that Lamar
